PLASKOLITE ACQUIRES THE PROFILE LIGHTING BUSINESS OF ROTUBA EXTRUDERS, INC.

North America’s Leading manufacturer of thermoplastic sheet expands its lighting product portfolio

COLUMBUS, Ohio (2 de julio de 2018) – Plaskolite LLC, North America’s largest manufacturer of plastic sheet products, announced today that it has acquired Rotuba Extruders, Inc.’s profile lighting business. Rotuba is the leader in the Custom Extruded Profile segment of the lighting industry.

As a part of the transaction, Plaskolite is acquiring Rotuba’s manufacturing operations in Linden, New Jersey. The closing is effective as of 30 de junio de 2018. Terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.

Plaskolite’s acquisition of the Rotuba Profiles Lighting business expands Plaskolite’s already thriving Profiles business and positions the company as the clear leader in the Profiles Lighting segment.  Adam Bell, Rotuba’s President, will stay on to lead the Plaskolite Rotuba Profiles business.

Founded in 1950 in Columbus, Ohio, by Donald G. Dunn and family, Plaskolite, LLC. is the largest North American manufacturer of thermoplastic sheet products. Plaskolite’s customized products are used in a wide variety of applications including windows, doors, lighting, signs, point-of-purchase displays and bath products.
